You could be right and thanks for the info but I find the timing suspicious. If he never worked a full day then he should have been let go long ago.
Don’t get me wrong, I feel for the woman that’s having the baby, but I’d like to know what her qualifications are going from secretary to director. Also, is she going on leave with her big boost?
Why not move somebody up that’s already in 911 and keep the secretary where she is unless there were ulterior motives.
Again, no problem if it was the private sector, but this is taxpayer money and it’s another Everett resident on the unemployment line. I think it would have been in the best interest for residents to move someone else up.

| The Keohan woman was to be let go and sources close say Sal asked not to be her because he was thinking about becoming the senator then and the son was the manager. |

The most vocal big mouth and trash talker in the city gets her reward for her pension. All for keeping quiet.

| Tails, he should have been let go sooner, unfortunately things didn't start to unfold until people started looking for him when he should have been there, but wasn't. There were other things such as labor charges involved. He was far from a victim. He also is not an Everett resident. The man lives in Seekonk, a good distance from Everett. As far as promoting from within, it would have been nice, but even the dispatchers know that it wouldn't be a good idea what with the personalities down there. A strong and impartial leader that knows the job is what was needed. Unfortunately that is not what will happen and until jobs are based on qualifications, not political leanings, nothing will change here. How sad. Hallowed, Why would she have been let go for a call she didn't take? The woman has a 13 plus year clean record. Had she been let go as you put it, the taxpayers would be looking at a major lawsuit,not just the unemployment they are concerned with here. The issue would not have affected Sal or her son's position and I know for a fact that he didn't step in. You need better sources. |

| It sounds like the 911 Director should have been let go. Since he was fired for not doing his job properly, does the city have to pay unemployment benefits for him? Or, did the city give a different reason for letting him go? |

so I am out on topix tonite and it's amazing how all the post for Rosa DiFlorio are gone, so I ask myself WHY and then I go to the everett paper and find her house is up for auction again at 4 PM on May 25th, do you think it will go through this time???? I found a link if you would like to read for yourself
