It's not a double standard at all if option of going to a Celtics game never came up until after a decision was made to postpone the public meeting.
The largest reason for postponing the meeting was that it conflicted with a scheduled function hosted by a common councilor. The council meeting is proof of that.....right after Lori Bruno announces the first time that the meeting ws being postponed, the councilor leaves his seat to verify the date with someone in the crowd.

| because I was 2 feet away from the councilor when he confirmed with the Mayors C.O.S. that the date Ms Bruno announced was incorrect. Can't get much more first hand than that....ask Tails where his/her theory came from. |

just wondering; Have you ever heard the phrase Perception is Reality? It's taught in many management courses. That is what will do Carlo in. He, and you, can swear up and down he didn't do this or someone is wrong about the other thing but what we think we see is what we believe is happening.
In this instance it looks like the meeting was postponed so he could go to the game. You'll be hard pressed to convince most of us it happened the other way around.
Perhaps you should explain the theory to Carlo and the rest of his staff. Having Erin speak for him makes it appear she's running the city. Not being visible at city hall leaves people believing he doesn't work and wondering who is running the show. Favoring Thibeault over the residents and hiring (and overpaying) so many supporters screams of the political patronage he promised wouldn't happen anymore if he was elected.
If he seriously thinks he's not going to be a consecutive one-term mayor, he needs to get off his butt, stop hiding behind his staff, and start doing what he told us he was going to do.

| According to this week's Leader-Herald, the Mayor has rescheduled the community meeting to Thursday, January 8th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Rec Center. |

My understnading is that it is happening tonight. I don't see why it wouldn't be taped/televised.
Not surprised that you aren't attending massdee....much easier to be a loud voice in annonimity.

I will not be attending because I have a seriously ill family member in the hospital. I will be at the hospital.
You are one of the rudest people out here.
If the Town Meeting had not been rescheduled previously, I would have been in attendance.

No, I did not! I have been at the hospital every night for almost two weeks. Have I attended other meetings and hearings? Yes, I have.
You hide behind your computer and insult people who do not happen to have the same views as you. I only asked about the meeting because I wanted to be able to watch it. What is wrong with that? I didn't insult anyone. I asked a simple question.
