I heard that this weekend.
If Mazzie wants out...then SEE YA. There should be no "buying out" of his contract. He has been ineffective as chief anyway and got more than his moneys worth all these years.
If the mayor wants him out I want to why, why now and what it the cost to the taxpayers. I'm not buying hiring the "Everett Guy" malarky either. If I remember correctly, his contract ends in December. What is the rush before an election? |

| Any truth to the rumor of a debate between the mayor and Peter Napolitano? I would like to see it take place so I can have a better idea on the views of both candidates and make an informed decision in November. |

We have always had debates. I cant see why that would change now.... |

That is not coming from Peter Napolitano's campaign. My suspicion is it's the same people that did Citizens for Everett, it's the same M. O.
Peter is working hard and running a clean campaign. If people want to mail out those accusations, then sign your name to it and back it up. Peter would never do that. |

| Several people I know got one. One checked with peter n and they had gotten other calls. He didn't send it out. Guess Carlo pissed off someone real bad. Not in favor of this type of stuff no matter who you support. Makes all candidates look bad. Oh, well--Everett politics at it's best. |

I think Carlo has managed to piss off a lot of people. I don't like this kind of stuff either. It never even entered my mind, when I read that on here, that Peter Napolitano would send something like that out.
I haven't heard of anyone receiving one of these. |
