I did hear that a much beloved employee at city hall has gotten himself in trouble with the mayor and a bunch of other people for actually doing his job well. He's tried to keep this administration out of trouble and this is his thanks. One of the 7 mayors was unhappy that this employee played by the rules and worked within state law, so another mayor had him suspended. Hopefully, he and his labor lawyer will be able to get this terrible injustice rectified.
It's just wrong. What happened to Mr. Honesty and Integrity?

I think that the Mayor (who is a fantastic person) is listening to the wrong people. The real people who voted for him want him to be the same person that they elected. He is changing into a person who is being taken advantage of in a big way. Please Mr. Mayor, start listening to the "Honest People" who care for you. This city is going down the drain very quickly because you are NOT listening. |

Pete, please, give us a break. Taken advantage of? Hanlon has been around long enough to know what's what -- he certainly should know right from wrong at this stage in his life. And at the end of the day, he's responsible for following whatever bad advice he's getting. Time for Johnny to put his big boy pants on and deal with things. |

Pete - John Hanlon has been in city hall for decades and he knows the score. Going after "Snow White" was a huge mistake, one that a gentleman with integrity wouldn't allow. Rules are rules, state laws are state laws, yet - this administration thinks they are a power unto themselves.
Lori - Snow White and the 7 Mayors is a story that should be told in coffee shops and newstands across the city, because you KNOW the Independent, the Leader and the Advocate won't touch it. I hope the Boston papers get wind of it.

Pete c'mon. Hanlon put ALL those people in those positions and I think that says something about him as a Mayor. Hanlon knew what type of people he put in power/important positions.
And being taken advantage? Please. Hanlon, knows how the game is played. Don't mistake being taken advantage of for utter and complete incompetence. And if Hanlon hasn’t started listening to the people who elected him he never will. He's Fred's puppet and all you Hanlon supporters didn’t see it (how I don't know). Lastly, he is listening......to everyone except the voters.

I think the ultimate decision was Fred's. I think good ol' Johnny Boy had to do this because Fred wanted Garron gone. Jack was the last roadblock to Fred's dominance over the city. Thank you Mr. Mayor. |

It's nice to know you guys are keeping your eyes open. Seem slike Hanlon giving directions with his eyes wide shut.
Perhaps if we all continue to pay close attention, the city won't be in total disrepair and we'll be able to turn things around when Hanlon is gone (and if he keeps Rav as part of his team of 7, it will be sooner than most would imagine). |

You know - that makes sense, that firing Jack was the final favor to Fred for the election? After all, John gave Fred his favorite little auditor for the first six months and then they hire a guy with no municipal experience.
I did hear that Fred was scheduled for trial in October. Trial - not motions. I hope it's true. |

Funny how Freddy Boy still has job and is going to trial, Lorna plead guilty and has Her job but Garron is out for following state law! I don't blame Jack for not being a TEAM player! I wouldn't want to play ball these ding dongs either! |

That dog officer is spotted everywhere. Unfortunately she never appears to be chasing dogs. She drops off and picks up some kids at the Lafayette in her city vehicle. She is always there 1/2 hour or more before school lets out to chat with the crossing guard. I see her chatting with a local citizen who runs her own dog shelter in her home (is that legal?) I never see that woman doing anything that might be job related. The dog officer was needed years ago when there were strays running all over. There is no need for her today. Heck I called a few years back and was told she was allergic to cats and could not come out for a rescue.
