Heard Hanlon hired a new CPO before Garron has been given a Formal Termination notice! Way to run a city!!! Making up your own rules yet again!

Nellie - who is it? Anybody we know? Of course, if that's what he's done...it will all come out in the courtroom.

Don't know who it is-Good Luck to him. He better check his morals & integrity at the door because they're not allowed in Everett City Hall! Jack Garron received his official Termination letter-Go get 'em Jack!

The word on the street is that the replacement CPO is Joe Pedulla, a friend of David Ravanesi's. No experience in municipal procurement. I wonder if any members of the city council are willing to ask why Jack was fired, and why this new guy is better for Everett? I wonder if any of the three newspapers are going to write about this story?

So does this mean we have to pay for two procurement officers till Garron's appointment expires?

Joey, the administration has terminated Jack's employment, so we will only be paying for one. But it's disgusting that this has happened to a man who has worked so hard for the city. This is the guy who exposed Fred for what he is...and I swear he'd turn his mother in if she ran afoul of procurement law. This was supposed to be the start of something better. Hanlon's no better than any of the rest of them.

After Mr. Garron's legal action against the city, the city will be paying him the remainder of his appointment plus court costs.

So yes, the city will be paying two purchasing agents.

Jack will get alot more than that! Hanlon's an uneducated idiot and Freddy's puppet. There won't be any hand holding for Hanlon in court and he'll bury himself and the rest of them!

So where is the outrage? Why isn't the city council questioning how this injustice could happen in Mr. Honesty's administration? There were aldermen screaming during the election about lawsuits incurred by the previous administration, and here is one within the first six months (and I did hear of another.) The silence is deafening....
