| not since 8 AM. Now that it's raining it's going to flood since the streets aren't cleared. It's going to be a heck of a mess once the temperature drops to freezing. |

| One just went by here and made a worse mess than before they plowed. I had the driveway all done, they pushed that big, wet, heavy chunky crap into my driveway. The joys of winter. |

Maybe I have low expectations, but I didn't think the streets were that bad. The test is going to be later tonight when all of this sleet and slush starts freezing over.
If anyone has to venture out tonight, take it slow! |

| I was on Ferry for a red light and watched GTA plow out the limo place across from the gas station. On the cities dime or not, I do not know. They plowed the snow on the sidewalk into a mountain on the sidewalk at the corner, so if you were expecting to use the sidewalk - forget it. |

| I don't believe the city is doing business with GTA anymore. They got dumped when the corner office changed hands........... Apparently the new occupant believed they were too friendly with the former mayor. It's too bad, I believe they did a pretty good job and they had some of the larger trucks, not just pickups. |

| you're right, this one was a dump truck. Still, privately plowed snow shouldn't be piled on public walkways. |

You read my mind, massdee. After what was in the paper yesterday, and now louie's comment today . . . seems that either the Mayor is being less than honest when he says only he and his legal team are reviewing the audit, or someone "in the know" has decided to be less than discreet.
Of course, us "average people" aren't savvy enough to understand it all anyway, according to the Mayor. |
