I just read the following on The Mirror. Does anyone know if it is true or not?

By all means, give James Keane your vote. He doesn't even live in the city anymore . . . just keeps an address here.

So much over there is trash, it's hard to sort out but I don't believe Keane has left the city.

Keane's mother lives here. I don't know anything about Mr. Keane, except that he has a bad temper, having witnessed it up close. Not pretty.

I think Joe has the making of becoming a good Mayor, I just hope that he understands that when we the people say we need a change we mean we need a change!Even if it means the hireing of department heads from outside the city that are quaified! Not just friends that support him! A leader is just as good as the people that a leader hires to help him lead!I uderstand how it works you help me get elected and i'll take care of you!In every campain you see the same faces, supporters who got termiated from the past administraions,in most cases they where not quaified to be on those jobs to begin with! Thats why we change leaders!A good supporter wants a mayor that is good for this city not just there personal vendetta! This is just my oppinion!

It's a worthy opinion, Joey. I sincerely hope that Mr. McGonagle will, should he be elected, surround himself with intelligent, hardworking and qualified people, regardless of their political affiliations.

That's a GREAT thought! I'd love to see it become reality.......

Has anyone heard anything about Sal DiDominico taking out papers for Alderman At Large? I bet he could give the three other hopefuls a run for their money, B.Cardello, Ciulla, and Matewsky.

Oh - that would be welcome news! While Mr. Faia may "try" to the best of his abilities, Mr. Ragucci would provide some much needed heft on the BOA. Mr. Faia is a backbencher, known only for his connection to his Uncle Fred, and wouldn't provide much more than he provides now....very, very little.

What a great race this is going to be. I thought Hanlon vs. Ragucci was exciting this last time.....but this time should be interesting with so many people in the pool. Hopefully whatever these candidates say they will follow through with. We don't need any more disappointment in this city.

I don't know Vinnie Ragucci. Who is he? Would he be a good addition to our city government?

Vincent Ragucci is a solid citizen. He has a business background and he is well-educated and respected. He would be an excellent addition to the BOA, if this is true.
