In that case, you may want to try to get Sgt Bova. I understand he enjoys having cars towed. If the plate & the VIN don't match, he'll have it towed in a heartbeat!

Update, I never made a call to anyone but this afternoon code enforcement showed up with a tow truck and they towed the vehicle I was posting about earlier.

Glad to hear it. Apparently not everything in the city is broken!

Massdee,
We are not aware that Code Enforcement is empowered under city ordinance to tow motor vehicles. Did you witness any Everett police vehicles involved?

No Police that I know of. I was out at the time, my daughter saw them and she said it was a code enforcement car there with the tow truck. I asked her if she saw the Police, and she said, "no."

It had to be the police. Emile is right, code enforcement doesn't have anything to do with parking.

Of course, there's always the possibility it was being repossessed.

I checked with my daughter, a code enforcement vehicle was definitely there when she looked out. There were no Police present when she looked out, maybe they were there before she heard the tow truck. She was watching because her car was parked in front of the car being towed and would have gone out to move it if needed.

Bova drives a white SUV, not a regular police car. Any chance that's what she saw?

Are the parking patrol people suppose to be doing every street every night? It appears around my parts that they only frequent my street about twice a week. There are still alot of cars without stickers on the street here untagged. Or better yet, rather than spend the $10. at City Hall they throw the ticket from weeks ago on the windshield before they go in for the night. Comical to watch.

Just curious, ward 6 is McGonagle's ward, is ward 5 Di Maria's. Could the mayor be playing games and tell his people to stay out of those wards to piss people off? I am just so skeptical about everything I hear now.
