Make them define "fixed" costs. How much is health insurance, debt obligations, etc.? I'm not terribly convinced that Janice knows the meaning of fixed costs.

And the other 6 milllion should be in the gunsights of every member of the city council.

What the hell is the other 7 mil, on top of his 10 or 11 mil from last year?

Citizen, you were correct, I just watched the presentation, it took the mayor about 4 minutes and city government made some motion and it was all over in about 7 minutes.

He did say he was going to take a look at the home owners exemption...........Why? Is that figured in on this increase? What would the increase be without it? Everytime I hear him speak I get more confused.

The home owner exemption has no bearing on what the requested budget will be. What it does affected is how the budget will be funded, i.e. what the tax rate will be.

I don't think Janice actually does the budget, I'm pretty sure Beverly does. Beverly does know the meaning of fixed costs, but does Hanlon? He said 6 mil was fixed, but we know he lies..........

Don Andrew also has a big hand in putting the budget together. They brought him back on a consultant basis to help with it, as well as bringing Beverly back after they fired her -- because they needed her help to get the budget done.

So does anyone know what Janice actually does? Seems like we're paying other people to do what she's responsible for!

You mean we're paying for those bad lies? Boy, for the money you'd think they'd at least make sense!

Janice was a fake when she worked for Sen. Doris. She would work at finding how not to do what the people wanted...thats probably why she hasn't worked an honest day in her life.
