Joanne Gregory is running for Alderman at Large.
If these guys don't smarten up they are not going to get below the 2.5 levy. What a bunch of horses asses. |

I think the women are doing very well. They seem to be the only ones taking this seriously. The men seem to be voting no just for the sake of voting no.

| This meeting is a disgrace. We may as well have given the mayor the exact budget that he wanted initially. I wish all these clowns were voted citywide so I could have a shot at removing most of them from office. The audacity of matewsky and his big mouth. He never shows up for the budget hearings - the first meeting he attended he had to share a budget book because he didn't bring his. He grandstands every meeting. Then faia stands up and "disconcurs" with him! Is that even a word? Each and every department should have salary cuts - not pick and choose. simonelli should not be voting when it impacts the overnight parking program. His cousin works for the department. How come the mayor does not get upset with mckinnon when he questions prop 2 1/2? Who gets the Golden Budget award tonight? We as taxpayers should have a say about the budget cuts - go to city hall - watch some of the department heads - do they really work? why was ravanesi transferred from the budget office to the mayor's office? The reason is the mayor's budget cannot be touched. Why does the mayor have another new position in his department - legislative director? What is a legislative director and what do they do? Why does the mayor need one? I'm sorry but I am so disgusted now I don't even know what else to say. Yes, my lack of capitalizing names shows my disrespect. |
